When we talk about column length, we’re measuring from the bottom of the pump casing up to the high water level mark — that’s the point just below the top bearing housing.
To pick the right size, measure your pit from the bottom up to where you want the maximum liquid level to sit. The pump casing needs to stay submerged at all times, and the liquid should never rise above the high water mark on the column. If you’re between sizes, go with the longer one.
Our flagship pump, in continuous production since 1964. A proper cutting pump with built-in agitation — it chops through waste and keeps everything moving. We make them in two outlet sizes and column lengths from 2’6″ right up to 12′, plus a horizontal option for different setups.

Built for the really rough stuff — grit, sand, stones, whatever your site throws at it. No screening needed, no priming hassles, and no bearings or seals sitting underwater waiting to fail. Comes in standard mount or flange mount, with direct coupling or belt drive.
Column lengths: 2’6″ to 6′ (0.76m – 1.83m)
Motor range: 2.2kW – 5kW (direct coupled or belt drive)
Outlet size: 2″ (50mm) BSP
Our model numbers aren’t random — they tell you exactly what you’re getting. Here’s how to read them:
Format: [Length Prefix][Outlet Size]
So an MA50 is a Medium (4′) with a 2″ outlet.
Format: [Length Prefix][F = Flange][50]
So an LRF50 is a Long (5′), Flange mount, 2″ outlet.
